Notes for Buyer
High quality honey will always eventually granulate. The time it takes to granulate will depend on the plants the nectar came from and the temperature the honey is stored at. Gently warming granulated honey returns it to it’s liquid state. There is absolutely no difference in flavour or quality. Never Microwave quality raw honey.
Honey, like cow’s milk, should not be fed to babies under one year of age. Local honey is a safe, natural and wholesome food for older children.
About our packaging
Our goal is to do our best to live sustainably and reduce our ecological footprint – particularly energy, water consumption and waste.
Our postal packaging is:
- 100% Biodegradable
With some thought we are able to use fewer, lighter materials. We use cardboard, woodwool fill, paper tape and labels. Wherever possible we buy locally.
Parcels are taken to a local Post Office, we pass regularly.
